Sup,
Yes, I know this doesn’t really have anything to do with the Wii (for the time being), but at least we can all enjoy a bit of GTA for now.

Sup,
According to all the major websites, blogs, and forums Nintendo has been holding out on their stock until April 1st. There seems to be some sort of financial reason for it, but who cares. The main thing is that for all of you who still don’t have it, April should be YOUR month!
…it’s almost mine! B-day soon!
Hey guys,
Read this!
“ TOKYO (March 28, 2007) – SEGA® Corporation and Nintendo Co. Ltd. today made a historical announcement that two of the biggest icons in the entertainment industry, Mario™ and Sonic™, are joining forces to star in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Developed for the Wii™ video game system and the Nintendo DS™ system, this momentous agreement marks the first time these two renowned stars have appeared together in a game.”
Pretty cool!
Sup,
If you haven’t heard or seen the pictures of the abysmal midnight launch of the PS3 in Europe, then here are some pictures taken from a French gaming site. Also, joystiq had this to write:
“Apparently the gloves are off in Europe, and it seems to be working. At French events, one store sold 50 consoles out of 1000, and another store sold 300 out of 1000. At the massive under-attended event at the Eiffel Tower, where they were told to expect 3000 people, roughly 40 people turned out … security was still turning people away without invitations. One unlucky gate crasher said, “I came from the suburbs, perhaps they don’t like my face.” At least the French are brutally honest.”
Just to let you know, this was 5hours before the midnight launch at a major gaming store in France.

The only guy there 4hours before the launch!

and finally… some XBOX360 LOVE!

Gooooooooooooooo Wii360!
Hey,
I know I usually don’t write or post stuff related to the PS3, but this has to be the best article EVER! At least for us Nintendo fanboys…
Today is tomorrow in Australia. Not just is it tomorrow, but it’s coming on noon. According to The Sydney Morning Herald the PlayStation 3 launched last night with “officials, media and security outnumbering customers.” The 500 retailers on the continent opened their doors for a midnight launch and despite the estimated 20,000 pre-orders “most stores were virtually deserted.“
The Herald says even the official launch event at Myer’s Pitt Street store had only 40 people in line at midnight “causing distress for the army of camera crews who turned up expecting to capture launch mayhem.” The gentlemen who ended up being first in line showed up at 9 PM. Adding insult to injury, television producers “unashamedly” had the crowd fake cheer for the cameras. A local radio station even had their on-air talent create “bogus cheers” to convince listeners that a major event was going on. Looks like the hype accompanying the U.S. launch has all but vanished. We’ll get a better picture of the PS3 PAL release later this evening when reports of the European launch trickle in. Maybe the land down under is just full of Xbox and Nintendo fanboys?
Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! =-)
The Article
Sup,
It has been confirmed by Capcom, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles will be released for our Wii in 2007. It will use the world famous RE4 engine.
“Capcom confirmed the release of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles this year” taken from here.
Can’t wait!
Hey,
According to this Article there might be a slight chance that the next GTA game will also be released on the Wii. Well at least Reggie Fils-Aime would like that too happen!
“In an interview with an American television station, Reggie Fils-Aime, the president of Nintendo of America, said that Nintendo has done all it can to persuade Take-Two Interactive Software to bring the Grand Theft Auto franchise to Nintendo consoles, and it is now up to the third party publisher to decide whether Rockstar Games’ immensely popular series will appear on Wii. We should know more later in 2007 regarding this issue.“
Wohoooo!
We got more than just VC games today!
Later!
Sup guys,
I know some of you might have read this already elsewhere, but it is simply that important for me to make sure it is know by all who visit this blog. The fact is that our beloved Wii has teamed up with Gamespy to work on its online system. How good does that sound!? One of the best online systems with “the best” console! Yahhhh baby!!! This is probably the best news we could get!!!
I don’t know how excited you guys are about this… or even if you are. But this is suchhhhhhhhhhh great news!!!

Hey,
You guys have to read this now. It’s a few lines of a conversation taken at the GDC with Reggie and some guy in the crowd.

Sup,
Aside from the news that we aren’t getting any online games from 3rd party developers until 2008 and that Super Ghouls and Ghost is out on the VC, is there anything worth mentioning?
It seems like even joystiq and other gaming sites simply have no new Wii material too offer us. Is there something I am not aware of? Anyone have anything new or at least exciting to tell us?
We want more Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

Hey,
As many of you have probably read on other blogs or websites, the big question being asked these days is: are you still playing your Wii. This question might sound insulting to us hardcore Wii Fanboys/Girls, but it should still be answered. As for me, this is my blog after all, I must admit to a slight loss of interest in our little white beauty.
My Wii gaming is at the point where I recently finished the Sky temple in Zelda and about to reach the last few major battles. Aside from that, once I finish Zelda I will probably go back to DBZ but might not invest as much time as I did the first 2months. Also, Warioware was a “HUGE” mistake for me since I have only played it 3 times since I purchased it on launch day. I wish I could return or exchange it, but I might just give it another chance. Finally, out of my 4 VC downloads, I have only played one more than… 1hour total. I can’t wait for Guitar Hero, DDR, bloody violent games etc… I guess I’m missing that type. I have always been a FPS fan (Quake, HL, etc)
I should really rent SSX Blur, because I absolutely loved SSX Tricky on the PS2 (the only game I ever liked on that system). It might revive my “weakened” flame!
Alright, that was about all I had to say for now.
I guess the last thing should be to ask you guys to answer this dreadful question.
