Wii | News Channel [Update]

Hey,

I don’t know about you guys, but I find the News Channel extremely useful, fun to use and really well done. The features are quite surprising and very easy to use, my mom was also impressed. I have to say that the coolest thing is how the text moves when you zoom in and out of an article. If you haven’t done it yet, do it now! It’s so funky! I like everything about the channel, except maybe that I would want more countries available. But for now this is a pretty sweet addition to the console.

If you really need those Wii points for the good old VC games, I strongly suggest that you get them from the Wiiconnect24 system. I just received my statement from Visa and compared to the price I would pay in CDN funds I saved almost $2, which means on the long run it really pays off.

If the numbers are accurate, or at least partially, from nexgenwars.com then the Nintendo Wii has officially passed the 4million mark. That said, their forecast for 6million units by the end of March-April is looking very feasible at this point. Let’s just hope the demand doesn’t drop until that point – It won’t!

Wii | WarioWare: Smooth Moves mini-review

Hey,

I picked up a copy on Tuesday and started playing the single player campaign with my girlfriend and I must say I am quite surprised and happy with the game so far. The only thing I like but also dislike is the very short time you play each mini-game, some would be so much more fun if they were longer.

8/10 so far.

Once I beat the single player mode and play a few multiplayer rounds, I will then be able to let you guys know how I really feel about the game.

In one of my post yesterday I gave a link to the first of these videos, but knowing a lot of people who don’t like clicking external links, I decided to put the videos here. The movie consist of real people playing out a story based on Final Fantasy/Zelda style games.

The first one is funny, the next two are fun but the last one is king.

The movie is almost one hour long, so set yourself comfortably.
