Nintendo’s french advertising strategy – Pictures

I recently stopped by my local Toys’R'us to check out if they had any new stuff on the Wii that would be worth writing about, but alas there wasn’t anything exceptional.

The only distinguishable aspect from our advertisements and others seen on the web is of course the language, but also the key slogan used. Indeed, Nintendo’s marketing strategy was adapted to the French speaking residents of my province and I assume to other French speaking regions of the world. The slogan is: “Oh Wii!” as in “Oh yes” or what I prefer being “Hell yeah!”

You can see it with this picture:

This shows that Nintendo has put some time and effort with its marketing strategy and has adapted itself to people’s language and culture. I must applaud Nintendo for doing this because like my province, they are many people who like to keep their individualities and recognizing this is much appreciated.

Here are two more pictures I took of the advertising display:

Do you guys agree?

Enjoy!

p.s These pictures were taken with my phone!

    What up!
When the hell did you turn into a Nintendo fanboy? Haha! Wii sounds like good times if you ask. As for blog advice, whenever you find something cool, post it.
